Introducing the Manor Automatic Timepiece

Our Manor Automatic Timepiece collections are driven by self-winding mechanisms, eliminating the need for batteries or frequent servicing, thus offering both economic and environmental benefits.

To initiate the timepiece, users need to manually wind the crown, jump-starting the power source. This simple process ensures consistent operation, especially when the watch has been inactive for a while. Once initiated, the self-winding mechanics take over, harnessing natural movement to keep the watch powered.

Did you know?

Although automatic watches have been around since the 18th century, they gained popularity only with the advent of wristwatches in the early 20th century.

Starting Your Timepiece:

For optimal function, our self-winding watches require an initial manual winding, often overlooked by customers. This initiation process is crucial for consistent operation.

To initiate the power reserve, wind the crown clockwise at the 3 o'clock position for approximately 18-20 revolutions. Caution: Avoid overwinding, as it may damage the internal mechanism.

Once initiated, the watch will self-wind, replenishing the power reserve through an oscillation weight that reacts to wrist and arm movements. For a quick boost, swing your wrist back and forth for 30 seconds to activate the oscillation weight.

For maximum power reserve, wear the timepiece for at least eight hours daily. If not possible or if the watch has been inactive for more than 20 hours, repeat the initiation process.

Note: All watches in our Manor Timepiece Collection boast a minimum water resistance of 3ATM, suitable for splashes or brief water exposure but not for swimming or water sports.
